VLV Aug Week 3 Sketch – Play Date Cafe 94

A card for the Viva La Verve August Week 3 Sketch challenge (by Shannan Teubner), and also for the Play Date Cafe #94 challenge.

I really simplified the layers, but hopefully not to an unrecognizable level.

My Hubby says this card looks masculine, but I’m not entirely convinced.  I wasn’t really going for masculine, necessarily, but more for simplicity, really.

I definitely see masculine in the colors, but I thought the leaves/vines on the circle element might turn it the other way.

What say you?  Masculine?  Or more feminine?  Or kind of a ‘masculinized’ feminine?  Would this work for either a man or a woman?

Thanks for stopping by today. 😉
-Ally

  1. I definitely think both…the flourished paper and lovely ribbon have "girl" written all over it, but, the colors to lend themselves to the more masculine side…no matter, your card is sure to please whoever the recipient is! Great job, Ally! Thanks for playing along with us at the Play Date Cafe!

Thanks so much for taking the time to comment.
