ColourQ 110 and VLV Nov Week 1

I just wanted to create something yesterday, so I took on the ColourQ #110 challenge and paired it with the Viva La Verve November Week 1 sketch (by Amy Sheffer).

Here is what I created:

I wasn’t sure exactly how to use the colors from the challenge, and it took a little bit of effort.  But after some trial and error experimenting with shapes and colors, I think I am fairly satisfied with the results.

The flower was cut from some DP, and then I crumpled it, distress inked the edges a little and sprayed on some Tsukineko shimmer spritz.

  1. You rocked this one Ally!!! PERRRFECT DP for the color throwdown..WOW! Love the round embossed die cut; it looks like a yummy cookie 🙂 And there you go again with those awesome die cuts! This is my favorite flower from PTI. Aren't their new releases looking a bit more interesting!!! Goodness I'm seeing dollar signs ~ yikes LOL!!

  2. Ally, I truly wouldn't have no where to start with all of those colors but your card makes it look so effortless! LOVE how the background paper just ties all of the colors and elements together! So Pretty! LOVE that FAB flower!
