Viva La Verve and ColourQ

I figured I had two Viva La Verve cards already created, I may as well try to do the last two.  Although, I haven’t the slightest bit of gumption to craft, really.  I’m in quite a slump, for various reasons.  But I made an attempt anyway.

The first card is for the VLV Feb Week 3 sketch, using random colors:

I broke out some designer paper and a Floral Doily Motif die for this card, wanting to use some not-used-very-often supplies.

The second card is for the VLV Feb Week 4 clean-and-simple sketch, using the ColourQ #126 colors:

Used the Leafy Sprigs die from Verve for the leaves and Spellbinders’ Big Scalloped Circle Dies for the flower.  I colored all the rhinestones with a Sharpie marker.

Thanks for stopping by today. 😉

  1. Ally, your cards are SO FABULOUS! Love the flower one the second one, just gorgeous all around! Thank you so much for joining us at the colourQ this week!

  2. Ally both of your cards today are just beautiful. I love how you cut and spaced the embossed panel in your first card and that fantastic felt flower on the second card is awesome. You have done some fabulous crafting today unlike me who has been hedging around the whole issue all day. LOL

  3. Beautiful cards–your mojo looks perfectly intact to me, even if you’re not feeling it. I just love the scored background on the second one and the sweet orange gems. Thanks for joining us again at the ColourQ!

  4. Wow, your cards are fantastic! I especially like the last one with the felt and dry embossing, it’s so richly textured, yet so simple. Love, love, love it!! Also like how you made flowers out of the scallop circle dies. I’ll have to try that!

  5. So sorry you’re in a slump Ally…you ok? It SURE doesn’t show in these two beauties! I am completely in LOVE with your first card. The sparkly hearts and floral doily ( I NEED one of those!) are so pretty. And your card for the colourQ is spot on. These colors stumped me as they seem more like fall than the upcoming spring season. But you rocked them. Hope you perk up soon 😉 HUGS!!

Ally, this card is simply striking. Love the color combos, textures and layout. Sorry to read about your health and concerns with PTI. I pray both issues get much better. Hot chocolate and a good book sound like the perfect medicine ~ enjoy!

Thanks so much for taking the time to comment.
