Play Date Cafe 147

Here is a card using the Play Date Cafe #147 colors, and loosely based on the Clean & Simple Stamping #206 layout:

Another belated birthday card, this one for a friend whose birthday was a few weeks ago.  Ugh – it’s been a busy month!

This is the first I’ve used the Background Basics: Medallions set, as well as the Plentiful Petals flower dies from MFT Stamps.

Thanks for stopping by today. 😉

  1. Love the way you used the challenge colors here, Ally. So end-of-summer-y. I need to use the medallions background more often-what a CAS element. The brad for the flower center is perfect for the season as well. Beautiful as always! Happy Labor Day to you and your family.

  2. This is a beautiful birthday card, Ally. I love the way you’ve sprinkled the rhinestones around. A great way to incorporate this week’s challenge colors, too! The flower is a stunner. So glad you could join us for this week’s challenge at The Play Date Cafe!

  3. Hey Ally! Had to pop in to tell you what a gorgeous card this is!!! Thanks for the inspiration and for showing me how great die cut flowers can be. I have some that I’ve never used 😦

Hope you are having a fabulous pain-free day!

  4. Seasonally perfect Ally! We have many shades of purpley mums starting to pop open in the neighborhood. This is s great flower die. I love your sweet polka dots leaves and sprinkled gems! Hope you had a nice holiday weekend 🙂

  5. LOVE this gorgeous card, Ally! The colors are so beautiful together, not sure I have cardstock or embellishments to use for this challenge ~ think I need to correct that issue 🙂 TFS
