Fusion Card Challenge #1

Welcome to our very first Fusion Card Challenge!  I am so happy to have you here today, and I hope that you’ll be able to participate with us in this fun challenge.

Here is our first challenge for your consideration:

As a reminder, there are three options for this new challenge:
1)  Create a project based only on Jackie’s Sketch.
2)  Create a project based only on Lesley’s inspiration photo.
3)  Create a project based on ‘FUSION’using both the sketch and photo.
(Make sure you stop by the Fusion blog for all the official details.)

I am officially a part of Lesley‘s team, which means that my job is to provide inspiration for you using only Lesley’s beautiful inspiration photos.  Here is my first project, based on today’s photo:

I used PTI’s Sunflower Bouquet stamp set and die to create a little bouquet based on the lovely flowers in the photo.  I colored them with Copic markers and added a little glitter pen to the flower centers.  I also used PTI’s Linen/Canvas Impression Plate on the mat layer and added a few patterned-paper and sentiment banners at the bottom.  The sentiment is from PTI’s Quilled Elegance stamp set, which I masked a bit in order to include only the ‘Thank You’ portion.

So which part of this challenge inspires you??  Are you inspired by the sketch?  Or by the photo?  Or will you create Fusion with both??

Please stop by to see what the rest of the Fusion Design Team have created and to see the details for this challenge.  The DT has some FABULOUS inspiration for you!  I am really looking forward to seeing the creative responses to this fun challenge concept, so I hope you’ll participate with us!
